orke employee resolve

Resolve a pending request with “Done”, “Won’t do”, or “Give my opinion”.

Command referenceEnglish

When to use it

Resolve a request left by the employee. With no extra options, this means “Done”; adding --decline true means “Won’t do”; providing text with --text means “Give my opinion”. These match the three buttons on PC and phone.

Usage

Example

Terminal
orke employee resolve --slug employee_slug --id request_id --json
orke employee resolve --slug employee_slug --id request_id --decline true --json
orke employee resolve --slug employee_slug --id request_id --text "Skip that site and start with another community" --json

Replace employee_slug with the actual slug from employee list, and request_id with an actual id from get or inbox. The first line means “Done”, the second “Won’t do”, and the third “Give my opinion”. Use only one of these for a request.

What to check in the result

EmployeeResolve: slug · id · outcome (done · dismissed · opinion) · opinionId (opinions only; the employee's reply refers to this id)

Behavior and states to watch

  • Use “Done” after completing the requested task, such as authentication. Resolving it does not immediately wake the employee; use shift-now if needed.
  • Each shift reads past requests and their resolutions. A request marked “Won’t do” (dismissed) is not repeated; the employee finds another approach. For an opinion (opinion), the employee reads it, decides what to do, and replies in one line in the Inbox.
  • An id that does not exist or is already resolved returns employee_request_not_pending. Combining --decline true and --text returns employee_resolve_conflict; empty or overly long text returns employee_opinion_empty · employee_opinion_too_long.
  • The inbox records cli as the source of the resolution.
  • This is a human (operator) command. Calls from an AI employee on shift are rejected with control_forbidden.
