Settings and shortcuts
Adjust the display, input, and notifications to suit you.
Adjust the display and fonts
In Settings, check the display language, app display size, and terminal font size. This guide uses English UI labels, so names may differ if you choose another language.
The terminal font setting changes text inside the terminal. App display size changes the overall interface, including menus and windows. Adjust in small steps and check whether the text you need is readable.
Change keyboard shortcuts
- Search for the action name in shortcut settings.
- Select the action to change and record your preferred key combination.
- If it conflicts with another action, follow the notice and choose another combination.
- Try the new combination in the workspace.
- Clear shortcuts for actions you do not need, or restore the original settings when needed.
Some keys are handled by the browser or terminal first. Distinguish app shortcuts from keys used by the program receiving your input. On Mac, combinations with ⌘ and those with Ctrl can have different meanings.
Check task notifications
The status line in Settings › Notifications explains why notifications cannot be sent. On Windows, notifications may appear as in-app toasts when the app is in front, and the OS’s Do Not Disturb setting also affects them. If you see instructions to install the runtime required for Windows notifications, follow them.
Accounts and execution environments
Use My account for your Google-linked orke account and sign-out, AI accounts for the current AI account and NVIDIA key, and execution environment settings for My PC and isolation readiness. Different environments may use different programs and sign-in locations.
Browser and remote access
“Speed up web actions” (Jev or Microsoft Decision-1) in browser settings helps interact with web pages. To connect from another device, prepare a public IPv4 address, HTTPS certificate, and connection port, then approve access with the same Google account. My account and AI accounts in Settings are separate.
Check your installed version
Find the version in Settings › About. When asking for help, include the version, OS, AI used, and error message. Follow Microsoft Store instructions for Windows installation and updates, and the homepage’s downloads and release instructions for Mac and Linux.
