Role and constraints
operator · windows, macos, linux
- Requires a running daemon owned by the same OS user; --help never connects.
- Secret input requires --stdin; never put secrets in command-line values.
- The Get-Content pipe example uses PowerShell; file < redirection uses POSIX shell syntax. File contents travel through stdin, never argv.
- stdin JSON object fields: provider (claude|chatgpt), name, model (string|null), effort (string|null), instructions (string), builtinTools (boolean), outputSchema (JSON object/string|null), concurrency (integer), timeoutMinutes (integer), accepting (boolean), mcp (server array). Create requires provider/name; update patches supplied fields and keeps the provider fixed.
- concurrency 1..500; timeoutMinutes 1..60; instructions up to 8000 characters; minified outputSchema up to 16384 UTF-8 bytes. A newly issued access key is returned once.
- MCP server JSON: name, kind (url|stdio), url/headers or command/args (string array)/cwd/env, user ({enabled, header, env}), keepFrom, lastTest. headers/env map names to strings; null keeps the saved value from keepFrom (default name). Names match [a-z][a-z0-9_-]{0,31}; do not put secrets in URLs or command arguments.
